Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our team at Homes for the Homeless, Inc. in the Williamsbridge area of the Bronx. As an Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our family residences and working closely with our administration and safety teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Facility Administrators, Assistant Administrators for Security, and Building Operations Supervisors to resolve issues and ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Partner with external agencies, including FDNY, NYPD, ACS, and DHS, to address incidents and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with executive staff and leadership at other facilities, including Central Office.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, and ensure timely reporting of incidents.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and take on responsibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
  • Sensitivity and awareness when working with homeless and vulnerable populations.
