This role primarily focuses on hands-on development, with potential responsibilities including strategic oversight, mentoring, and training of fellow developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the design and execution of large-scale and architecturally significant applications.
- Promote company standards and best practices, continuously enhancing software delivery processes.
- Develop programming specifications and engage in design, coding, and unit testing of application code using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Collaborate with the Product team to conceptualize new features, gather requirements, and propose innovative solutions.
- Interpret business requirements, create functional specifications, and identify the most efficient technologies.
- Research and apply new interface development techniques.
- Support the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, release, and ongoing support.
- Exhibit adaptability and creative thinking while working with emerging technologies.
- Establish best practices for development and promote the growth of mobile application standards.
- Encourage a culture of innovation and creative problem-solving.
- Maintain and support applications using necessary tools and technologies.
- Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior associates.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in developing iOS applications using Xcode and various third-party libraries/frameworks.
- 3+ years of proficiency in Swift programming.
- A comprehensive understanding of mobile application development processes, including user interface design, backend systems, and API integrations.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Participate actively in the technical design process of applications.
- Prepare estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.
- Create and maintain technical system documentation throughout all phases of the SDLC.
- Communicate project status, including potential risks and issues, to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Support and maintain applications with the necessary tools and technologies, collaborating with support teams and vendors as needed.
- Build strong partnerships across application, business, and infrastructure teams.
