Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the design and execution of large-scale and architecturally significant applications.
  • Promote company standards and best practices, continuously enhancing software delivery processes.
  • Develop programming specifications and engage in design, coding, and unit testing of application code using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to conceptualize new features, gather requirements, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Interpret business requirements, create functional specifications, and identify the most efficient technologies.
  • Research and apply new interface development techniques.
  • Support the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, release, and ongoing support.
  • Exhibit adaptability and creative thinking while working with emerging technologies.
  • Establish best practices for development and promote the growth of mobile application standards.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and creative problem-solving.
  • Maintain and support applications using necessary tools and technologies.
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior associates.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in developing iOS applications using Xcode and various third-party libraries/frameworks.
  • 3+ years of proficiency in Swift programming.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mobile application development processes, including user interface design, backend systems, and API integrations.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Participate actively in the technical design process of applications.
  • Prepare estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.
  • Create and maintain technical system documentation throughout all phases of the SDLC.
  • Communicate project status, including potential risks and issues, to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Support and maintain applications with the necessary tools and technologies, collaborating with support teams and vendors as needed.
  • Build strong partnerships across application, business, and infrastructure teams.
