Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic intervention to individuals in a rehab environment, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment planning, in accordance with facility and Medicare guidelines.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of patient care and reporting billing information.
- Participate in development and presentation of in-services for the facility.
- Supervise support personnel as needed.
- Perform clinical functions, including screens, evaluations, and treatment delivery.
- Participate in meetings regarding patient care.
- Assist with community education and public relations activities.
- Provide education to patients' families and staff on treatment plans and therapy goals.
- A minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certification in accordance with the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform tasks without posing a threat to health or safety.
