Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic intervention to individuals in a rehab environment, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment planning, in accordance with facility and Medicare guidelines.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of patient care and reporting billing information.
  • Participate in development and presentation of in-services for the facility.
  • Supervise support personnel as needed.
  • Perform clinical functions, including screens, evaluations, and treatment delivery.
  • Participate in meetings regarding patient care.
  • Assist with community education and public relations activities.
  • Provide education to patients' families and staff on treatment plans and therapy goals.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certification in accordance with the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
  • Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform tasks without posing a threat to health or safety.
