Cayuga Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in an evening shift role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Facility Policy.
- Take patient vital signs, such as respiration, temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate, and report any changes in the patient's condition.
- Practice ethically and professionally within your scope, advocating for patient needs and maintaining clinical competence specific to your care area.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and document patient information accurately and thoroughly in our electronic medical record system.
- Communicate effectively with other nursing personnel and the responsible RN regarding patient changes and observations.
- Graduate of a Nursing Program
- Current NYS LPN License
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Prior patient care and customer service experience
- Onsite
- $24.00 to $33.00 per hour
