Job Summary:

As an Iron Operator with Aramark Uniform Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of merchandise in our industrial laundry facility. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stage and feed merchandise onto the ironer to minimize wrinkling and tangling
• Receive and fold merchandise from the ironer with precision and accuracy
• Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet quality standards
• Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type with attention to detail

Working Environment:

This role is based in a warehouse setting and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet attendance schedule and work overtime as needed
