Job Summary:

As an Iron Operator with Aramark Uniform Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of merchandise in our industrial laundry facility. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stage and feed merchandise on ironer to reduce wrinkling and tangling
• Receive and fold merchandise from ironer
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting quality standards
• Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type
• Place bundles in correct storage carts and maneuver full and empty carts

Requirements:

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet attendance schedule

Working Environment:

Work is performed in a warehouse setting and may involve exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position involves repetitive motions, bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting, as well as standing and walking for long periods of time. Ability to push carts weighing approximately 300 lbs is required.

Education:

High school degree or equivalent preferred.
