Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Iron Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of merchandise in our industrial laundry facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stage and feed merchandise on ironers to reduce wrinkling and tangling
  • Receive and fold merchandise from ironers
  • Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting quality standards
  • Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
  • Working knowledge of basic math skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Environment

This role involves working in a warehouse setting with regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and dust. You will be required to stand and walk for long periods, push carts weighing up to 300 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.

Education

A high school degree or equivalent is preferred.
