Job Summary

As a Bar Manager with Compass Group USA, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bars and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service. You will lead a team of associates and be responsible for managing client relations, maintaining the quality of our beverages, and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning events and managing alcohol service
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and service areas
  • Responsible for scheduling bar staff and providing training on responsible service of alcohol
  • Assist with inventory control and maintain organization of products
  • Oversee event set-up and break down, and continually monitor cost control
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of controlling labor and be able to work a 50 hour week with variable days off
  • Willingness to assist other departments as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office products
  • ServSafe Certified preferred
