About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our team at Weber-Stephen Products LLC. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining modular campaign templates, developing email campaigns, and optimizing email template portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop modular campaign templates that are responsive and incorporate brand standards and best practices.
  • Develop and optimize email campaigns, including automated campaigns, newsletters, and product recommendations, using HTML and AMPscript.
  • Manage and segment audience data using Marketing Cloud and CDP tools, including audience builder, data extensions, API, filters, and queries.
  • Troubleshoot campaign development issues, including template rendering, accurate links, accessibility, and subscriber lookup.
  • Leverage SFMC tools and scripting languages to update content and enable dynamic content/personalization.
  • Partner with Marketing channel leads to facilitate omnichannel consumer journeys via the CDP, including creating audiences, journeys, and connecting sources and destinations.
  • Assess performance of digital omni-channel journeys/executions through timely KPI reporting and partner with Marketing channel leads to identify and drive optimizations.
  • Responsible for process and systems to manage data quality, ensuring production data is correct for each campaign.
  • Collaborate with analytics & marketing teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, Responsive, Email, CRM, and/or Email Coding.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, with 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud required.
  • Salesforce certifications a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Litmus/other testing platforms.
  • Use of Marketing Cloud scripting languages / AMPscript.
  • Develop all email templates and promotional content within production schedules.
  • Knowledge of results-driven email metrics, specifically A/B testing and KPI tracking.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop.
  • Set-up automated email templates, queries, and reports focused on improving the consumer experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Customer Data Platform, Segment is preferred.
  • High level of ownership of responsibilities, forward thinker, always working towards elevating brand opportunities.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in an entrepreneurial, deadline-driven environment.
  • Possesses strong business ethics and is reliable.
  • Have high energy, a confident manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Impeccable documentation skills with a strong attention to detail.
