Wafer Development Engineer

At Western Digital, we're pushing the boundaries of technology to make the impossible possible. As a Wafer Development Engineer, you'll play a critical role in integrating new wafer technologies and read/write head designs into our innovative HDD products.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the introduction and qualification of new wafer products, ensuring seamless transfer to manufacturing according to product schedule.
- Develop and implement comprehensive wafer data packages, driving product qualification and manufacturing readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in wafer development.
- Master's degree in physical science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven data retrieval and analytical skills, with experience in project management and communication.
- Prior manufacturing or wafer process development engineering experience is a plus.
