Radiographic Testing Assistant

Position Overview:
The Radiographic Testing Assistant will support the execution of calibrations, Nondestructive Testing (NDT), and evaluations to determine acceptance or rejection based on established protocols, while accurately documenting results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and operate Nondestructive Testing equipment.
2. Aid Radiographers in the calibration processes of NDT apparatus.
3. Assist in conducting tests to ensure quality or identify discontinuities (defects) utilizing various NDT inspection methods.
4. Document inspection outcomes thoroughly.
5. Support the execution of NDT procedures, including the transportation of equipment and other related tasks.
6. Perform additional job-related duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- RT State Carded is advantageous.
- Completion of 40 hours of Radiation Safety Training is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Some college education is preferred.
- A technical background is desirable.
- Candidates must possess the experience, credentials, and history necessary to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable, in compliance with federal and state regulations, as verified by a comprehensive background check.
- A valid Motor Vehicle Driving record must align with company standards for operating company vehicles.
