Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving issues with laser machines.
  • Track technical issues and incoming requests from customers.
  • Manage schedules and follow up with customers to ensure optimal use of laser machines.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on laser machines at customer locations.
  • Develop and maintain parts lists and ensure parts are in stock.
  • Identify safety issues on machines and provide customer training.
  • Write and compose service reports and expense reports.
  • Perform failure mode analyses and make upgrade recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in mechatronic, automation engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years' experience on automated CNC machines.
  • Recent experience installing, repairing, and diagnosing problems with automated CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with engineering software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and remote communications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven and responsible.
  • Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechatronic, automation engineering, or electrical engineering from an accredited university.
  • 3+ years' related experience on automated CNC machines or fiber laser machines.
  • Mandarin Chinese reading and speaking ability is a plus.
