Senior Project Engineer

RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to enhance our Professional Services team. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) sector.

As a prominent provider of construction assurance, testing, and inspection services, we cater to both civil and commercial construction projects. Our extensive service portfolio encompasses construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialized testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make informed decisions and provide recommendations regarding test report outcomes, project site conditions, and inspections.
  • Prepare and assess inspection and testing reports, as well as procedural plans and specifications developed by others.
  • Develop scopes, budgets, and timelines for assigned tasks.
  • Participate in client site meetings and discuss recommendations with senior consultants and quality managers.
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships while identifying new project opportunities.
  • Conduct on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests and inspections as required.
  • Engage in both fieldwork and laboratory tasks regularly.
This position provides a general overview of the responsibilities and does not encompass all potential duties. The role assumes that the individual possesses the necessary mental and physical capabilities to fulfill the outlined responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • At least 8 years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Availability for day shifts starting at 7 AM.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to frequently lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Proficient in receiving detailed information through verbal communication.
  • Capability to kneel and squat occasionally.
  • Endurance to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb and work at different heights as necessary.
