Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage vendor contractors, subcontractors, and program partners responsible for the delivery and execution of Evergy's Demand Response (DR) Programs to meet program performance deliverables and goals.
  • Manage partners to key project timelines, including integration implementation and product functionality consistent with business requirements and project objectives.
  • Work closely with key internal departments and stakeholders to manage product implementations in a timely fashion gathering cross-functional feedback and alignment.
  • Champion continuous process improvement and customer experience through streamlined execution and delivery of projects.
  • Prepare project status reports to track and monitor progress and vendor performance against program objectives and goals.
  • Stay abreast of ongoing research and trends in DERMS, DRMS, demand side management, demand response, and distributed energy resources.
  • Use working knowledge of Missouri and Kansas Energy Efficiency Investment Act, demand side regulatory rules, approved demand side filings, and associated tariffs to improve operational results and program outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, or a related discipline - MBA is preferred but not required.
  • Depending on level (PM I or PM II), position requires 0– 6 years of related work experience.
  • Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical project management background.
  • Track record of creative thinking and problem-solving, as well as an ability to deliver successful, innovative programs to market.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Internal desire and demonstrated ability to study, learn, and apply in new environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize multiple data sources to gain insights and develop action plans, as well as an ability to execute against plans with excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral, both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Experience working with or helping launch new digital technologies.
  • Experience with orchestrating change management.
  • Understanding of electric utility operations and pricing/rates is a plus.
  • Demonstrable skills in coordinating activities through a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, managers, vendors, regulatory stakeholders, and customers.
