About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Director in Training to join our team at Brickyard Healthcare. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully become a licensed Executive Director.

Responsibilities
  • Departmental Objectives and Functions
    • You will be responsible for completing objectives in each department and learning the functions of each supporting department, including Administration, Business Office, Financial Management, Human Resources, and Marketing.
  • Skills Assessment and Commentary
    • You will submit written skills assessment commentary to your preceptor and program director upon completion of rotation in each department.
  • Leadership and Management
    • You will be assigned management and supervisory functions on a routine basis and will function in the capacity of Assistant Executive Director and assume responsibility for the program in the absence of the Executive Director, if requested.
  • Special Projects
    • You will be responsible for special projects as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Availability and Flexibility
    • You will be available to work a flexible schedule and participate in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field.
    • A Master's degree is preferred.
    • You must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical management experience, preferably in a related healthcare field.
  • Leadership and Management Experience
    • You must have prior experience in budgeting, profit and loss management, billing, and cash collections.
    • You must be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in past achievements and/or previous work experience.
  • Travel and Relocation
    • You must be able to travel, including overnight travel.
    • You must be able to relocate.
  • Automobile and Insurance
    • You must have access to a reliable automobile that meets state and company regulations regarding automobile liability insurance coverage.
  • Computer Skills and Attendance
    • You must have basic computer skills.
    • You must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
