About the Position

The Automotive Assistant/Service Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our repair shop. This includes scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, ordering parts, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage the work of mechanics/technicians to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Order parts and materials as needed to support repair operations
  • Ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting or exceeding customer expectations
  • Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager to inform customer decisions
  • Provide basic supervisory/leadership skills to effectively manage the team

About the Position of Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and under-car repair services needed. This is a sales-oriented position requiring prior sales experience in products/services requiring up-selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with tire selections and under-car repair services
  • Provide sales-oriented support to customers, utilizing up-selling techniques
  • Work with customers to identify and address their repair needs
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
