This role focuses on business development in support of INDOPACOM and is dependent on contract award.
As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for producing intelligence analyses, ensuring comprehensive situational awareness of ground operations, and contributing to the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE). You will synthesize intelligence reports from various sources and provide assessments, feedback, and input to enhance intelligence collection strategies addressing existing gaps. Your research will involve drafting, coordinating, and publishing predictive all-source analysis products concerning foreign military capabilities, order of battle, and indications and warnings to guide senior government officials and influence operations. Key areas of focus will include ground operations, military capabilities, C4ISREW, strategic assessments, and competitive analysis. Collaboration with theater service components and INDOPACOM J2 will be essential to ensure alignment with USARPAC and theater priorities.
Qualifications:
JOURNEYMAN: A Journeyman level requires 3 to 10 years of relevant experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. This level typically operates independently across all functional responsibilities.
Security Clearance: TS/SCI
Physical Demands: The position necessitates extensive use of computing systems, including PCs or laptops. It may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, typing, and reading from screens. Sufficient mobility is required for tasks such as bending, reaching, and kneeling. There may be a need to work in elevated or confined spaces and to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Due to potential parking limitations, moderate to long-distance walking may be necessary. Occasional travel to various sites may also be required.
Work Environment: Primarily an office setting, which may include cubicles with considerations for close quarters, moderate noise levels, and varying lighting conditions. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and management at all levels is crucial. There are no unusual hazards associated with the job, and limited travel (up to 10%) may be expected.
Equipment Proficiency: Competence in operating standard office equipment such as personal computers, printers, copiers, and telephones is essential.
Attendance Expectations: Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regular attendance is critical for meeting deadlines and participating in meetings. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate urgent mission requirements.
Professional Conduct: Professional behavior is expected at all times when interacting with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Appropriate grooming and attire are required to maintain a safe and professional work environment. Independent transportation to the office or work site is necessary, and travel to customer locations may be required to support projects. Compliance with safety regulations, including the use of seat belts while driving for work purposes, is mandatory. Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required. A commitment to fostering a positive work atmosphere through professional behavior and effective communication is essential.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $82,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Individual compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
