We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Manager to join our team at Blair Logistics. As a Driver Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our driver personnel, ensuring they are safe, productive, and deliver on-time to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with load planners to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Utilize our operating software, McLeod, to assign work to drivers across the country.
  • Direct the daily activities of drivers to designated territories or dedicated operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance to drivers on complying with local, state, and federal statutes regulating the trucking industry.
  • Ensure drivers are safe, productive, and deliver on-time to our customers.
  • Counsel drivers and assist them with over-the-road issues.
  • Assist drivers with keeping important documents up to date, such as driver's license renewal, random drug tests, and physicals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in transportation operations management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards.
