Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equine Sales Representative to join our team at Prox Animal Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales of products to both existing veterinarians and new customers within an assigned sales territory in the Southwest portion of the U.S., with a focus on Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and make sales calls to target, current, and prospective customers to generate sales, improve market share, and increase income for Prox Animal Health.
  • Select products and programs that motivate customers to buy products, utilizing the computer as a sales aid and being competent in the use of company email, company promotions in Outlook, and Salesforce.com.
  • Support Equine customers in the Southwest region, with a focus on Texas, and live within the assigned sales territory.
Requirements

A bachelor's degree and one to three years of outside sales experience, preferably in animal health, are desired. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills, as well as a proven ability to sell, are necessary. A valid drivers' license and good driving record are mandatory.
