Position Summary
If you have a strong interest in the biomedical and medical device sectors, this role offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth. This position requires approximately 50% travel across the United States, providing you with the chance to explore new locations while contributing to impactful work. Additionally, you will benefit from travel perks such as airline miles and hotel points for personal use.
- Demonstrate initiative and independent judgment in your work.
- Engage in extensive travel, covering various locations throughout the continental United States.
- Maintain precise service records, expense reports, and datasheets, ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
- Become familiar with company quality manuals, safety protocols, and manufacturing standards.
- Interact professionally with clients through on-site visits and phone communications.
- Participate in the assembly and repair of components and devices.
- Install and test medical equipment to guarantee optimal performance.
- Implement strategies to keep equipment functioning at peak efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve device performance issues promptly.
- Be prepared to address equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in electrical engineering technology with coursework in digital and analog circuits.
- Strong understanding of electronic and engineering principles, with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics, digital voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Mechanical aptitude in assembly and disassembly processes, along with knowledge of various soldering techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Capability to obtain a company credit card.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Effective time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of biomedical devices and electronics.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Field experience in a related role.
