Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Nursing Department at Matheny Medical and Educational Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clerical support to the Nursing Department, including typing, transcription, filing, and maintaining telephone contacts.
- Maintain current nursing licenses and CPR certifications for all department nurses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Update and maintain department policy and procedure manuals, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to all staff.
- Coordinate payroll activities for department personnel with the Finance department, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Organize and coordinate department and committee activities, including recording minutes and preparing agendas.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer software, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, email, and databases.
