Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Probate and Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team at the Law Office of DuPont and Blumenstiel. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estate planning and probate law, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
  • Assist with the administration of estates, including preparing probate petitions, inventories, and accountings
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other parties involved in the estate planning and probate process
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for estate planning and probate matters
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and other appointments
  • Provide support to attorneys in all aspects of estate planning and probate cases
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
  • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills
  • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred
  • Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree desired
  • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
