This role involves setting up machinery in accordance with order specifications, efficiently operating equipment to meet production goals, and addressing any machine malfunctions or performance issues.

Responsibilities That Drive Success

• Interpret orders and select appropriate resins and additives.
• Operate extruders and resin-handling machinery.
• Maximize extruder output while minimizing waste.
• Conduct quality checks using micrometers and dyne test solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of production, quality control, time utilization, and material consumption.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dyes, including changing dyes and screen packs.
• Label materials and transport rolls and carts to designated areas.
• Adhere to all operational rules and procedures within the extrusion department.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following all workplace regulations and reporting any incidents or hazards.

Your Expertise is Our Strength

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years in general warehouse operations.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret basic written materials.
• Proficient in writing simple statements and numbers.
• Competent in performing arithmetic calculations involving fractions and decimals.
• Preferred experience in blown film extrusion and minor mechanical troubleshooting.
• Average dexterity and coordination, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb stairs.
• Frequent mental and visual attention required to monitor extruder operations.
• Capability to distinguish colors.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Quick adaptability to new procedures and advancements in the industry.
