Diesel Mechanic/Technician

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and other critical systems
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to resolve complex technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in heavy duty equipment maintenance and repair
- ASE certification in diesel engines and transmissions
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
