Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and complete patient paperwork, including exam, scheduling, and physician orders.
  • Transport patients to and from their rooms and ER.
  • Monitor equipment for mechanical safety and explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties.
  • Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views.
  • Work collaboratively with the Diagnostic Imaging Department to meet patient needs.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Technologist.
  • Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas (TDH).
  • ARRT (R) registered as a radiologic technologist.
  • ARRT MRI (MR) registry within one year of hire/transfer.
  • 1+ year(s) MRI experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
