About the Role:
As a Portfolio Lead at CBRE, you will play a crucial part in implementing strategies and setting the overall direction for the department. This role is part of the Client Consulting function, focusing on advisory services related to real estate operations and investments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide formal supervision to employees, ensuring their training and development needs are met.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching to drive employee growth and success.
• Oversee the recruiting and hiring process for new employees, ensuring the right talent joins the team.
• Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff as needed.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines, ensuring timely completion of projects and tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills.
• Drive profitability, business development, and revenue expansion for the team through strategic planning and execution.
• Research the current workplace from various facets to assist in building future workplace strategy.
• Coordinate high-level feasibility studies and needs evaluation to inform business decisions.
• Develop an understanding of real estate's impact on corporate performance and provide insights to drive business growth.
• Assist with the curriculum development of occupier training change management, focusing on new ways of working and aligning business management to adopt change.
• Work with Sr. management to coordinate client services and delivery as needed, including budget management, project-related products, and client presentations.
• Resolve escalations as needed, applying a robust knowledge of multiple fields, business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
• Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values and persuading managers and colleagues to take action aligned with the organization's functional business plans.
• Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
• Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems, leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
• Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Measurable expertise in workplace strategies and relevant project management approaches, tools, and phases.
