The Trellix Advanced Research Center provides an additional layer of protection by continuously informing the platform on the latest threat actor techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) and recommendations from millions of global sensors.
Role OverviewTrellix is seeking a highly skilled Channel Solutions Engineer to support our North American Enterprise business. This role will work closely with channel account managers within the Enterprise business as a technical sales expert.
The Channel Solutions Engineer will be responsible for engaging with prospective customers to understand their cybersecurity needs, crafting tailored solutions, and presenting product demonstrations to showcase how Trellix's offerings address those needs.
About the RoleReporting to the Vice President of Solutions Engineering, the Channel Solutions Engineer will have in-depth knowledge of security, cloud architectures, and on-premise hub and spoke infrastructures. The ideal candidate will understand the challenges our customers are facing in today's digital landscape and the transformation going on in the security industry.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a channel environment and be familiar with large strategic partners. They will be comfortable understanding business drivers and outcomes, as well as the technical capabilities required for this role. They will also be comfortable presenting to the C-Suite.
Additional Responsibilities- Participate in sales conference calls with teams, providing product information and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Trellix's solutions can provide value to them.
- Present 'XDR Solutions' and how this addresses the customers' needs and outcomes.
- Provide technical expertise on customer product and solution demonstrations.
- Contribute to the writing of solution proposals and ensure they meet or exceed the customer's requirements and fit for the intended purpose.
- Contribute to technical or solution responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) or Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Build and participate in pipeline activities.
- Retain a competent level of knowledge and technical hands-on experience across Trellix products, solutions, and sales proposition.
- Stay informed about security trends and industry analyst reports and information.
- Share best practices, provide feedback to product management, and support the go-to-market programs of the company.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
- You have at least 5+ years of security experience with deep knowledge in end-to-end security solutions, including XDR.
- You are able to conduct customer presentations.
- You are experienced in supporting customer beta activities and early adopter programs.
- You know how to provide technical escalation management within accounts.
- You are adept at using Salesforce.
- You complete activities on time and to the desired outcomes.
- You work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches and build pipeline.
- You ensure successful product evaluations.
