Job Title: Director of Home Health Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Home Health Nursing to lead our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our home health care services, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and direct clinical and office operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care.
  • Ensure new patient referrals are assigned to the appropriate clinical personnel and that evaluations are performed in a timely manner.
  • Review and assess plans of treatment for appropriateness of clinical content, frequency, and referrals to other disciplines.
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures, including HIPAA and documentation standards.
  • Provide public relations with the community, organizations, and individuals involved in the health field.
  • Commit to our company values and mission.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of practice.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Home Health Care as Supervisor or Administration required.
  • Experience in business and fiscal functions in a healthcare setting, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet or exceed tight deadlines.
  • Ability to utilize effective problem-solving skills and to effectively multi-task.
  • Valid driver's license and a state-insured automobile, with the ability to travel to all locations as needed.
