Position Overview:
The Retail Operations Leader is accountable for comprehensive store management, enhancing customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and supervising staff.

Core Responsibilities:
- Formulate strategic initiatives to broaden the customer base, boost store traffic, increase market share, and maximize profitability.
- Achieve sales objectives by mentoring and providing constructive feedback to the sales team.
- Ensure superior customer satisfaction through outstanding service.
- Monitor and analyze inventory, labor, departmental, and sales reports.
- Oversee and verify inventory counts and pricing adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Manage store opening and closing protocols.
- Coordinate sales training programs, ensuring all employees receive mandatory training regularly.
- Supervise the merchandising of the store, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams to identify sales trends and customer preferences.
- Train and develop Department Managers in their daily responsibilities, including hiring and coaching.
- Maintain Department Manager schedules and assist with payroll functions as needed.
- Work with facility management to uphold the store's appearance and functionality.
- Address any issues raised by staff or customers, including complaints and grievances.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management.
- Strong leadership skills and business acumen.
- Excellent organizational capabilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, ideally within the outdoor sector.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role oversees Department Managers within the store.

Work Environment:
The work environment and physical demands described are representative of those encountered while performing essential job functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. This position is moderately active, involving prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional walking or standing.

While executing job duties, employees are regularly required to stand, sit, communicate, hear, use hands and fingers, and bend to retrieve items from the floor. Employees may need to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Specific vision abilities required include near vision for computer work.

Travel Requirements:
This position may necessitate occasional travel.
