Job Title: Interventional Vascular Technologist

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Interventional Vascular Technologist to join our team of dedicated caregivers. As a key member of our Angio-Diagnostics Institute, you will play a vital role in providing patient-first healthcare and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

This position involves working Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the possibility of sign-on bonus eligibility. As an Interventional Vascular Technologist, you will provide technical assistance in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during and after exams
  • Operate ancillary equipment adherent to specific procedures
  • Position patients to obtain radiographic exposure, adjust exposure factors, and process images
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS
  • Complete after-hours transmission of images and appropriate paperwork
  • Monitor equipment, systems, clean equipment, and effect timely repair
  • Teach and instruct students and new hires
  • Learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in good standing
  • Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT)) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology (R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT)) preferred
  • Current state licensure (RL) required prior to employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Work Environment

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting or assisting with lifting patients of varying weight, and manipulating equipment daily. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be used as required.
