As an Engineering Technician II, you'll play a key role in determining the operations required for fabrication and assembly of products, implementing cost-saving process improvements, and creating and supporting manufacturing processes for the motor and generator value streams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create production routings for motors and generators in Oracle.
  • Review existing production routings as needed for revision, rate, and work center accuracies.
  • Write and edit Job Instruction Breakdown's (JIB) and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Work directly with Value Stream Leaders to troubleshoot and resolve runnability constraints and bottlenecks, create set up improvements.
  • Measure variances to standards, identify out-of-control variances, investigate causes, and suggest solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide shop floor support as needed.
  • Develop methods for measuring work performance against standards.

Requirements

  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent related experience (Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • Commitment to company values and working with a sense of urgency in areas including Safety, Productivity, and Customer Success.
  • Working knowledge of computers and office software such as Oracle a plus.
