Position Title: Administrative Assistant II

Role Summary: The ideal candidate for the Administrative Assistant II position should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to mid-to-senior level management and a department team of 15.
  • Operate within a diverse and complex environment, engaging with customers and executives.
  • Execute advanced administrative tasks, including project management, drafting correspondence and reports, preparing presentations, and processing purchase orders.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Handle more intricate administrative functions such as project oversight, newsletter development, and presentation preparation.

Technical Skills: Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet management, and basic presentation or database applications.

Additional Duties: In addition to standard office administrative tasks, key responsibilities will include organizing for an office relocation and managing employee service awards.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel may be necessary for setting up conference rooms or urgent mail deliveries.

Parking: Validated parking available at the facility.

Dress Code: Business casual attire is expected, with flexibility for casual wear on certain days.

Education Requirements: A college degree is preferred, but equivalent experience or post-secondary education is acceptable.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a related role is required.

Relocation: No relocation expenses will be covered for this position.

Travel: No travel is required.

Local Candidates Preferred: Yes
