Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations on adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, renal/pelvis, small parts, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment in various settings
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient examinations
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology
  • RDMS-AB and BLS certifications
  • RDMS-OB and RVT certifications preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

Our facility specializes in general ultrasound examinations and superficial procedures. We handle a high volume of transplant patients, and expertise in Doppler of abdominal vasculature is highly valued. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively to achieve outstanding results.
