Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general, abdomen, renal/pelvis, small parts, paracentesis, and thoracentesis ultrasound procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of ultrasound procedures and results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • RDMS-AB and ARDMS credentials required; RDMS-OB and RVT credentials preferred
  • Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings; teaching and community hospitals preferred
  • Portable ultrasound skills required; PACS and biopsies skills preferred
Work Environment

Our diagnostic imaging department is a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires strong communication and teamwork skills. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

What We Offer

  • 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
