We are seeking a Palliative Medicine physician to join our Supportive Oncology team as a Clinician/Educator. As a physician-owned and led organization, we strive to create a modern and flexible approach to group practice.

As a Sutter Health aligned medical group, we partner with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF) to provide practice management and clinical operational support so physicians can focus on patient care.
Opportunity Details:
- Full-time opportunity with a 50/50 split between clinician and educator roles
- Hybrid, virtual outpatient palliative medicine
- Participate in core rotation focused on communication skill training and primary palliative medicine for internal medicine residents
- Participate in Cancer Committee, quality improvement committees
- Teach oncology fellows during their palliative medicine rotation
- Option to follow patients when hospitalized, or partner with a robust inpatient team
- Access to outpatient social work support

Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Must maintain board certification in primary specialty

We work in partnership with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF), a non-profit organization providing care through its affiliation with SWBMG. Physicians work as a team to provide patient-focused care that encourages a sense of teamwork as the referral destination for complex cardiac care across the Sutter system. SPMF provides physicians with an administrative infrastructure, allowing physicians to focus on patient care.
