Our team specializes in assisting businesses with reorganizations and insolvency-related matters, representing parties in bankruptcy and other judicial proceedings, as well as in out-of-court workouts across the country. We work with a diverse range of clients, including:

  • Business debtors
  • Unsecured creditors' committees
  • Lenders and secured parties
  • Bondholders
  • Vendors and trade creditors
  • Asset purchasers
  • Insurance carriers
  • Landlords
  • Equipment lessors
  • Liquidating agents
  • Individual stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of two years' relevant law firm experience
  • Specific experience representing business debtors, creditors, landlords, and supply chain parties
  • Familiarity with the bankruptcy code, the uniform commercial code, and experience with transactions, business workouts, and restructurings
  • Knowledge of aspects of financial restructuring and bankruptcy, including complex Chapter 11 transactional experience
  • Experience working with commercial parties to formulate creative solutions to resolve significant commercial disputes using the Bankruptcy Code and applicable state law
  • A desire to understand how to develop a representation strategy that advances client goals
  • Experience working with a broad range of clientele, including Fortune 200 companies, large and middle-market businesses, and international businesses
  • Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills, along with strong academic credentials
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong work ethic
  • Interested in business development activities
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of which they are sitting
