Location: Aspen, Colorado
Pay Range: Starting pay range is $21.50/hourly, based on experience.

Position Summary
The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness, and repair of the Aspen Maintenance Facility (AMF), Glenwood Maintenance Facility (GMF), and other RFTA properties as required.
Essential Job Duties
- Conducts various cleaning tasks including restroom sanitation, replenishing supplies, cleaning workspaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste disposal, window washing, dusting, and refrigerator maintenance.
- Utilizes the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to log time spent on daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning activities.
- Completes assigned deep cleaning projects as directed by the supervisor.
- Operates vehicles in compliance with RFTA policies and all applicable traffic laws.
- Seasonally responsible for snow removal around the facility.
- Handles and cleans up hazardous materials as necessary.
- Maintains a daily log of tasks and special projects in the Enterprise Asset Management Software for supervisor review.
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Commitment to achieving personal, departmental, and organizational goals and performance standards.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and adhere to the RFTA code of conduct.
- Capability to read, understand, and follow safety instructions and procedures.
- Expertise in the safe operation of cleaning and maintenance equipment.
- Strong knowledge of safe material handling and maintenance practices.
- Proficient in basic maintenance and repair techniques.
- Physical ability to perform required tasks.
- Effective communication skills to understand and follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- A valid Colorado driver's license is required.
Experience that equips the candidate to effectively perform all fundamental job functions.
