Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Yoakum Community Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians and radiologists by performing various radiologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and radiologists in performing radiologic procedures
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of patients while producing high-quality images
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from a two-year college or technical school, or graduate of an accredited school of radiation sciences as evidenced by licensure in the State of Texas
  • Must be a Certified Radiologic Technologist licensed as an MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) with the Texas Medical Board
  • Previous experience or training in radiologic procedures preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of radiologic equipment and procedures
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligibility for registration
  • CPR certification is required
