Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Yoakum Community Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures and assisting physicians and radiologists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging modalities
  • Assist physicians and radiologists in interpreting images and making diagnoses
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from a two-year college or technical school
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiation sciences, as evidenced by licensure in the State of Texas
  • Must be a Certified Radiologic Technologist licensed as an MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) with the Texas Medical Board
  • Previous experience or training of six months to one year is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment and procedures
  • Experience in Computed Tomography (CT) is a plus
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible
  • CPR certification is required
