Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Yoakum Community Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures and assisting physicians and radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging modalities.
  • Assist physicians and radiologists in interpreting images and making diagnoses.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiation sciences as evidenced by licensure in the State of Texas.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist licensed as an MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) with the Texas Medical Board.
  • Previous experience or training of six months to one year is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment and procedures.
  • Experience in Computed Tomography (CT) is a plus.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible.
  • CPR certification is required.
