We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Yoakum Community Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures and assisting physicians and radiologists.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging modalities.
- Assist physicians and radiologists in interpreting images and making diagnoses.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from a two-year college or technical school.
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiation sciences as evidenced by licensure in the State of Texas.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist licensed as an MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) with the Texas Medical Board.
- Previous experience or training of six months to one year is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic equipment and procedures.
- Experience in Computed Tomography (CT) is a plus.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible.
- CPR certification is required.
