Role Summary
The Cardiovascular Technologist plays a crucial role in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting with various procedures by scrubbing, circulating, recording, and monitoring patient conditions to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or BCLS Instructor certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Two years of experience in a licensed field, with one year in a cardiac cath lab preferred.
- ARRT registered or RCIS certification within three years of hire, unless already a Rad Technologist with ARRT.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
