Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Group Leader, Food and Nutrition to join our team. As a key member of our Food Service department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service program, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our patients and staff.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary environment.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and hospital policies related to food service.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
