Position Summary:

As a Senior Test Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding teams responsible for Application, System, and Integration Testing. Your expertise will ensure the effective evaluation of systems across various national and allied geospatial intelligence frameworks, guaranteeing the precision and timeliness of GEOINT deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor teams of engineers at various levels in conducting thorough test and evaluation processes.
  • Oversee the testing of software applications and APIs within DevOps environments, adhering to established quality assurance protocols.
  • Manage independent integration testing of software and hardware systems to verify compliance with defined specifications.
  • Design and implement both manual and automated testing strategies utilizing various programming and scripting languages.
  • Conduct in-depth technical investigations into defects identified during testing phases.
Qualifications:

Essential:
  • Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in systems integration within complex environments, including government or industry settings.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking software.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and traditional development methodologies and their corresponding testing approaches.
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Frameworks.
  • Prior experience with intelligence community or Department of Defense projects.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in a relevant STEM discipline.
  • Proficiency with tools such as JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, or GitHub/GitLab, as well as programming languages like Java, Python, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles and tools.
  • Experience with NGA and NSG/ASG project initiatives.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess an active TS SCI clearance and be open to undergoing a polygraph examination if required.
