Job Title: Software Engineer in Test

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our team at Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG). As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation strategies, creating automation test plans, and integrating with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement test automation strategies
* Create automation test plans and integrate with CI/CD tools and pipelines
* Develop and execute automated tests
* Troubleshoot and document defects
* Work closely with engineering and QA teams to manage and improve the development pipeline

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
* 8+ years of experience in automated software development and testing
* Experience with at least two automation tools/technologies
* Java, C#, or Python development experience
* Flat File Processing, API, or Backend testing experience

Desired Experience:

* Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems
* Experience testing MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems

Security Clearance Requirements:

* Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance

Citizenship Requirement:

* U.S. citizenship is required for this opportunity
