Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team at Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by educating and mentoring students in the field of medical assisting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students and align with industry standards.
  • Utilize learning management systems to effectively communicate with students and track their progress.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet the required standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest instructional methodologies and best practices in medical assisting education.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of practical work experience in the field of medical assisting.
  • Education that exceeds the level of instruction, such as an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in various medical procedures and administrative tasks, including phlebotomy, immunizations, venipuncture, injections, pharmacology, EKG, wound care, GYN procedures, and vital signs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and administrators.
