About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Practice in Kinesiology to join our team at Texas Tech University. This is a full-time, remote position that requires teaching online courses in kinesiology and contributing to the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach four courses in the fall and spring semesters, including undergraduate kinesiology online courses.
  • Participate in teaching workshops to enhance instructional abilities.
  • Contribute to the department's mission as a colleague.
  • Develop and teach new courses in the 36-hour completion program.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or a related field.
  • At least one year of teaching experience in undergraduate kinesiology courses.
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct in-person labs in applied exercise physiology and exercise testing and prescription.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in kinesiology, exercise physiology, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of teaching experience in online undergraduate kinesiology courses.
  • Availability to instruct in-person labs in the Dallas Metroplex area.
