Position Overview
The Logistics Coordinator at DSV plays a pivotal role in managing and coordinating service requests from clients, aiming to exceed their expectations while achieving key performance indicators. This position requires an individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong customer service orientation and a comprehensive understanding of operational systems and vendor capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Trailer Interchanges for the Purchase Order fleet upon arrival and departure from any yard.
  • Maintain and generate mechanical repair reports for the Purchase Order fleet.
  • Monitor and trace the status of all loaded and empty Purchase Order fleet vehicles.
  • Input updates into the Vehicle Fleet Tracking system for all Purchase Order fleet loads, collaborating closely with team members to meet customer service standards.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with customers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, partner vendors, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the achievement of relevant key performance indicators.
  • Accurately capture data and perform system entries.
  • Support team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Provide both remote and on-site assistance to teams in the customer service department and at client locations.
  • Utilize quality processes to address customer service and vendor-related issues.
  • Assist in the initiation of new accounts.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new service offerings.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues related to customer service, vendor partnerships, and internal team dynamics.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Engage in project work as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in logistics, customer service, or a related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in typing and computer skills (Word/Excel).
  • Strong command of English (reading, writing, and verbal).
  • General mathematical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to adapt and work effectively within a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
  • Commitment to fulfilling responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2 years of industry experience.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is required to use hands for various tasks, reach with arms, and communicate verbally. The position may involve close vision and distance vision requirements.

Work Environment
The employee typically works in an environment with low to moderate noise levels and minimal exposure to hazardous materials.
