Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Compile and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Cash Management: Oversee cash management activities and analyze cash flow to ensure optimal financial performance.
- Accounting Operations: Direct the activities of the accounting department, including the management of accounting records and the implementation of protocols and controls to mitigate risk.
- Special Projects: Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends to support business decisions.
- External Partnerships: Serve as a liaison with external accounting firms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to prepare tax returns for various entities.
- Team Development: Provide training and guidance to accounting staff to enhance their professional development and ensure the team's success.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager.
- Leadership: Proven management leadership in a team environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Hospitality experience preferred.
- Education: Master's degree in business, accounting, or a relevant field.
- Certifications: CPA highly preferred.
