We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Operations Specialist to join our team at National Park Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services department, working closely with our Perioperative Director and other stakeholders to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing patient care, including circulating cases, to ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Director to monitor and contribute to regular staff meetings and minutes, communicating organizational priorities and unit initiatives.
- Work with the Sterile Processing, Materials Management, and Anesthesia teams to optimize departmental efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage overtime and control costs, ensuring cost-effective care delivery.
- Contribute to departmental education and quality monitoring initiatives, promoting evidence-based practice and high-reliability care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of perioperative operations and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction are essential.
