Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based child and family therapy services, including inpatient consultation, outpatient crisis intervention, and long-term family therapy.
- Deliver Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to children and families, with a focus on promoting healing and resilience.
- Maintain ongoing communication with referral sources, service providers, and care teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Assist families in accessing community services and transitioning to other treatment providers as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, educational opportunities, and hospital-wide initiatives to promote collaboration and best practices.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as counseling or social work.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Kansas.
- Experience working with children and families, preferably in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
